OneRecovery Code of Conduct

By participating in the OneRecovery Site, Chat or Online Meetings you accept the following terms and will abide by these rules of conduct.

Personal attacks, attacks on recovery program, sexual references, and racial comments are NOT allowed.  You agree that you will be courteous to others, even when disagreeing.  You may respectfully express your opinion about a person's ideas, NOT about them personally.  Pejorative remarks about people or programs are not permitted and members will be removed from Chat, or have access to OneRecovery restricted if OneRecovery Administrators deem remarks to be pejorative.

1. OneRecovery will not permit any of the following behaviors:

• Sexually explicit language, description, or images.

• Language, description, or images that encourage drug use, alcohol, crime, or violence.

• Profanity, obscenity, or inappropriate language of any kind.

2. You agree not to disrupt or interfere with the flow of discussions in Chat, on blogs, or otherwise in any area of OneReovery.

3. You may not impersonate other members, celebrities, or OneRecovery staff.

4. You agree not to ask other members for their passwords or personal information and never give your password or other personal information to others. (OneRecovery staff will never ask for your password.) Note: Any personal information you disclose may affect your anonymity and OneRecovery is not responsible for any and all situations that arise because of such disclosure.

5. You must represent yourself honestly and without duplicity. You understand OneRecovery cannot vouch for the honesty of everyone who visits here.

6. OneRecovery limits members to one profile.

7. OneRecovery is not to be used as a forum for ongoing personal disputes.  Should this behavior be noticed by a OneRecovery Administrator, said parties will be removed from OneRecovery until the dispute is agreed to be resolved by involved parties.

8. Abide by the OneRecovery Terms of Service (TOS) you agreed upon at registration.
