For the most part, a lot of your details are the same. A few minor areas, like “I’d Like to Meet” have been removed, but you’ll find a lot of new details there, too! Your Privacy settings are currently set to OneRecovery’s defaults, which you can customize under Settings on you’re my Profile page. | Where did "Groups" go? | ||
Currently, OneRecovery doesn’t have the Groups feature, but you can create specific groups of friends under your Friends section on your My Profile page. You can also interact with people like you under the different Forum categories. In the future, OneRecovery may implement an innovative way to approach Groups. The confirmation email should go directly into the email account you specified during registration. Sometimes, the confirmation email may get caught in your spam filter. Please check there. If you still can’t find it, please contact us at support@onerecovery.com. |

Members must request screen name changes by sending an email
to support@onerecovery.com. The
email must come from the email account registered with the existing member
name. Please send the existing name and desired
screen name and allow one business day to process. If the desired name is in use you will be
asked to select another name. |

| How do I join OneRecovery? | ||
The site is available to anyone who has a desire to be in recovery, or of service to those in or seeking recovery. We require members to register via an invite from a member or from the request an invite on the learn more page We do not have an “open” registration site to help protect our site and our members from automated registration bots, spammers, predators, and to keep the community focused on those interested in supporting one another in their recovery. |

| How does OneRecovery Respect my Privacy? | ||
OneRecovery respects the privacy of our registered members by implementing safeguards to protect your personal information, all of which are detailed in the Privacy Policy.
As a OneRecovery member, you can control how much of your content you’d like others to see through the Settings links on the My Profile page.
If you are an alumnus of a Treatment Center and have joined their network on OneRecovery after accepting their Terms of Service, your OneRecovery profile information will also be available to them.

| Who can read my content? | ||
Under Settings on your personal My Profile page, you can determine who has access to read different types of content that you post, such as Blogs and Journals. |

| What happens if there is inappropriate content posted or inappropriate behavior occurring on the site? | ||
Inappropriate activity should be reported immediately via email to support@onerecovery.com. OneRecovery has the option, per our Terms of Use, to suspend or terminate a member’s account if they are conducting activity that is prohibited on the site. Please review the Terms of Use for details on acceptable content. |

| How do I invite Friends? | ||
Building your friend network on OneRecovery is where the power of healing begins. OneRecovery helps you keep in touch with the people closest to you for constant strength and hope. You have the ability to import address books directly from Hotmail/Livemail, Yahoo!, AOL and Gmail—it's simple, fast, and you can be selective about who to invite. Click on the Invite People button at the top of the page and follow the instructions on how to add friends to your network. Or, click on the Search People button to find people you may know or others you can relate to. |

| How do I search for people who are on the OneRecovery site? | ||
Either click on the Search People button at the top of the page, or in the ‘Search’ bar, type in a friend’s name, specific zip code or city or fellowship. Click ‘Search’ and results will appear. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, it could be that the OneRecovery member currently has set their profile to “Private”. |

| How do I add a Sponsee? | ||
A OneRecovery member has to request you to be their Sponsor. You will receive an email to your OneRecovery account with a Sponsee request. Simply click “Accept.” |

| What’s the difference between a Treatment Center alumni and a OneRecovery member? | ||
Anyone who signs up on the site is a OneRecovery member. Treatment Center alumni are OneRecovery members who are attending or have attended a specific treatment center. If you attended a Treatment Center and would like to become part of that alumni community, choose your Treatment Center under Recovery Programs on your My Profile page, which will send a request to the manager from that specific center who may grant you access. If you do not see your Treatment Center listed, please contact support@onerecovery.com. |

| What can I do on the Community page? | ||
You can see all the latest “Celebrations”, “Milestones”, “Forum” posts, “Blog” posts, newest members and who’s online now from the “Community” page. |

| What should I post on my blog? | ||
Your blog is your space to post anything you’d like to express. Keep in mind that offensive language and behavior will be flagged for removal, according to our Terms of Use. OneRecovery recommends that you DO NOT post personal information such as phone number, SSN, DOB, etc. because it will be available for all members to see in this public forum. |

| How do I add meetings or events that aren’t listed in the Meetings or Events section? | ||
To add a meeting or event, click on the Add a Meeting/Event link under the Calendar section of your My Profile page. Scroll your mouse over either “Meeting” or “Event,” and you’ll be taken to the respective page. Just fill out all the required fields on the form, then click “Save.” You’ll be able to invite members to the meeting, and choose whether it’s recurring. |

Click on Meetings in the main navigation bar, then “Search Meetings”. You can search for meetings by location, type or fellowship. |
